BWA YACHTING EXPANDS SERVICES TO CARIBBEAN;
BWA FINALIZES AGREEMENTS TO PURCHASE SUPER
YACHT SERVICES AND OCTOPUS YACHT SERVICES

LUGANO, Switzerland - BWA Yachting, worldwide leader in concierge and maritime agency services to the super yacht industry, is now expanding operations to the Caribbean. BWA Yachting - Caribbean headquarters are in St. Maarten and will provide services in St. Thomas, Anguilla, St. Barth’s, Antigua and St. Lucia with a number of other Caribbean offices expected in the coming months.
The first step has been finalized with the signing of an agreement to purchase two leading yacht agents in St. Maarten, Super Yacht Services owned by Lucille Frye, and Octopus Yacht Services owned by James Roidis and Ralph Rivers. These two companies will be integrated into BWA Yachting - St. Maarten and will serve as the start of BWA’s operations on the island. The St. Maarten office will also serve as the Caribbean headquarters of BWA Yachting from which all Caribbean operations will be managed.
BWA Yachting is opening Caribbean operations in partnership with Jeff D. Boyd who has been appointed CEO of BWA Yachting – Caribbean, responsible for development and management of operations. Mr. Boyd is currently President of the St. Maarten Marine Trade Association and brings to the table over twenty-five years of experience in the marine trades industry. Jeff has been actively involved in all facets and levels of the marine industry and most recently served as the Executive Vice President of operations worldwide for Island Global Yachting. During his career, he has provided consulting and management services for marinas, yacht clubs and shipyards in the U.S., Caribbean, Europe and the Middle East consulting with developers, owners and governments on marinas and marina related services. Mr. Boyd is an avid yachter and owns and operates the 115’ Charter yacht “M/Y El Jefe” which gives him a unique perspective on the need for agents and the service levels needed.
Lucille Frye, an MCV IV Captain, contributes a solid background of 20 years in the professional marine industry with more than 15 years of maritime experience comments, “I am excited to join the BWA Yachting group and I look forward to continue to serve my customers with increased excellence as a part of the BWA team, providing integrated quality assistance on a global scale.”
James Roidis with over 12 years of marine industry experience and Ralph Rivers, co-founders of Octopus Yacht Services comment, “At OYS we are pleased to announce that we have entered into a definitive merger with BWA.
