BWA YACHTING'S MANAGING DIRECTOR IN CROATIA
ELECTED VICE PRESIDENT OF THE ASSOCIATION
OF SHIP BROKERS AND AGENTS IN CROATIA
LUGANO, Switzerland - Capt. Ivo Dujmic, Managing Director of BWA Yachting in Croatia has been elected Vice President of the Association of Ship Brokers and Agents of Croatia. The primary goals of the Association are to coordinate the activity of shipbrokers and agents, to promote local ports and the development of maritime traffic, and to promote further collaboration between agents and government officials.
Capt. Dujmic commented, “This will undoubtedly offer us an even better opportunity to be in constant contact with the competent Ministries to discuss the challenges facing the superyacht industry in Croatia today, and will keep BWA in a position to help the industry lobby for more yacht friendly rules and regulations.”
Capt. Dujmic has a long and distinguished career in Croatia in the maritime industry. In 1978, he became a Master of Foreign Vessels, he has been employed at the Harbourmaster's office and later Capt. Dujmic served as manager in the nautical tourist agency which managed the largest nautical fleet of speed boats in the Adriatic. For the past fifteen years Capt. Dujmic has worked in the superyacht industry as owner and yacht agent of Marea Mega Yacht Agency in Croatia. In 2004, he became Partner and Managing Director of BWA Yachting in Croatia.
